Rockies reinstate Hundley from disabled list, option Lyles to Albuquerque

Right-handed Pitcher Scott Oberg recalled from Triple-A, catcher Dustin Garneau optioned to Albuquerque

DENVER - The Colorado Rockies announced today that they have reinstated catcher Nick Hundley from the seven-day concussion disabled list, recalled right-handed pitcher Scott Oberg and optioned right-handed Jordan Lyles and catcher Dustin Garneau to Triple-A Albuquerque.
 
• Hundley, 32, was placed on the seven-day disabled list April 16 (retroactive to April 14) due to a concussion … he played in two games on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Albuquerque, going a combined 1-for-5 with an RBI, two walks and one strikeout … in seven games with the Rockies, he is 5-for-22 (.227) with one double, one homer, three RBI, six walks and four strikeouts … across parts of nine Major League seasons in 670 games with San Diego (2008-2014), Baltimore (2014) and Colorado (2015-16), Hundley is a career .248 hitter with 225 runs, 111 doubles, 16 triples, 63 homers, 260 RBI, 164 walks, 565 strikeouts and 13 steals. • Oberg, who turned 26 on March 13, has appeared in six games with Albuquerque, posting a 4.70 ERA (7.2 IP, 4 ER) with two saves … he made his Major League debut in 2015 with Colorado, posting a 3-4 record and 5.09 ERA (58.1 IP, 33 ER) with one save in 64 games … Oberg was originally drafted by the Rockies in the 15th round of the 2012 First-Year Player Draft out of the University of Connecticut … will wear number 45. • Garneau, 28, is 4-for-10 with three doubles and an RBI in three games …he was recalled April 16 when Hundley was placed on the disabled list … Garneau, drafted in the 19th round out of Cal State Fullerton in 2009, began the season at Albuquerque … he was 4-for-18 (.222) with two doubles in five games … Garneau made his Major League debut in 2015, playing in 22 games … he has hit .188 (15-for-80) with seven runs, six doubles, two homes, nine RBI, eight walks and 16 strikeouts.
