Rangers Homestand Highlights: April 25-May 1

The Texas Rangers return to Globe Life Park in Arlington for a six-game homestand against the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Angels beginning Monday, April 25.

The Yankees make their lone regular season trip to Arlington for a three-game series Monday, April 25 (7:10 p.m.), Tuesday, April 26 (7:05 p.m.), and Wednesday, April 27 (7:10 p.m.)

Cole Hamels is currently scheduled to start the opener of the Yankees series on Monday. For each of Hamels' projected home starts, Section 9 of the Lower Reserved seats has been designated Hamels' Heroes. Fans who purchase a Hamels' Heroes ticket will receive a specially designed Hamels' Heroes t-shirt and "K" card. Texas Chili Company Dollar Hot Dog Night and another edition of Dr Pepper Autograph Wednesday on Wednesday, April 27, highlight the Yankees series.

FOX Sports Southwest is inviting Rangers Fans to Pay the Date for the games on Monday and Tuesday versus New York. The Angels make their first trip of the season to Globe Life Park for a three-game set Friday, April 29 at 7:05 p.m., Saturday, April 30 at 7:05 p.m., and Sunday, May 1 at 2:05 p.m.

Captain and Friends Mascot Weekend will take place on Friday and Saturday, when Rangers Captain will welcome several mascots from other major league clubs as well as several from the teams: Rowdy from the Dallas Cowboys, Victor E. Green from the Dallas Stars, and Tex Hooper from FC Dallas. As a salute to mascots everywhere, Friday night's post-game Fireworks Show be a "Toon Fest" with musical themes from various cartoon shows.

Rangers Captain and the rest of the mascots will be signing autographs and taking photos in Captains Corral in the Kids Zone at Globe Life Park during the 5th and 6th innings on both Friday and Saturday. The first 7,500 fans, 13 and younger, will receive a Fanatics Rangers Captain T-Shirt Jersey on Saturday night.

The homestand concludes on Sunday, when the first 7,500 fans, 13 and younger, will receive a McDonald's Prince Fielder Wiffle Ball and Bat. It's also Blue Bell Ice Cream Sunday, with $1 ice cream for fans 13 and younger.
