Due to the rainout of Game 1 in the National League Championship Series on Wednesday, Game 3 of the American League Championship Series in Detroit has been moved to a 4:30 p.m. ET start on Friday. FOX Sports and ESPN Radio will carry the game live, broadcasting at 4 p.m. ET.
Coverage of NLCS Game 2 by FOX Sports and ESPN Radio will be begin at 8 p.m. ET on Friday at Shea Stadium. Friday was to be an off-day for the NLCS, but Wednesday's rainout pushed Games 1 and 2 back a day, necessitating the time change for ALCS Game 3 on Friday.
The game times for ALCS Games 4 and 5 (if necessary), also in Detroit, remain unchanged. Coverage for both games will begin at 4 p.m. ET.
Also as a result of the rainout, the NLCS will play five games in five days, with Games 1 and 2 scheduled for Thursday and Friday in New York, and Games 3, 4 and 5 to be played in St. Louis on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, if necessary. Coverage for all five games begins at 8 p.m. ET.
