Team to watch
Once right-hander Jose De Leon comes off the disabled list, Triple-A Oklahoma City will have one of the best trios of starters in the Minor Leagues. Julio Urias is baseball's best lefty prospect, De Leon led the Minors with 12.8 strikeouts per nine innings last year and righty Jharel Cotton has a pair of plus pitches in his fastball and changeup. Double-A Tulsa should have a very potent offense built around first baseman Cody Bellinger, outfielders Alex Verdugo and Jacob Scavuzzo and second baseman Willie Calhoun.

New faces
Eight members of our Dodgers Top 30 will play their first game with the organization this year. Right-hander Frankie Montas, outfielder Trayce Thompson and second baseman Micah Johnson came from the White Sox in December's three-team Todd Frazier trade. Cuban outfielder Yusniel Diaz, who signed for $15.5 million and cost Los Angeles an equal amount as a penalty for obliterating its international bonus pool, will start his career as a 19-year-old at Class A Advanced Rancho Cucamonga. Cuban second baseman Omar Estevez, who signed for $6 million and a matching penalty, will debut as an 18-year-old at Class A Great Lakes. Three more big-ticket international signees -- Cuban righty Yadier Alvarez ($16 million bonus, $16 million penalty), Dominican outfielder Starling Heredia ($2.6 million bonus) and Dominican shortstop Ronny Brito ($2 million bonus) -- will make their first pro appearances later in the summer.

On the shelf
Hampered by a minor ankle injury during Spring Training, De Leon will join Oklahoma City toward the end of April. Montas is on the big league 60-day disabled list after having a right rib surgically removed on Feb. 12. Right-hander Walker Buehler had Tommy John surgery last August, soon after signing for $1,777,500 as a first-round pick, and it's too soon to know when he'll make his pro debut.
