D-backs introduce new Hispanic initiatives in 2016

The Arizona Diamondbacks (@LosDbacks, @Dbacks) will commence their 19th regular season in franchise history on Monday, April 4 at 6:40 p.m. against the Colorado Rockies, and once again the team will focus on new ways of engaging its Hispanic fan base. The D-backs will introduce a variety of new events and projects to enhance the fan experience, highlighted by the new La Terraza inside Chase Field.
 
La Terraza
New for 2016, the D-backs have incorporated a section in the Upper Right Field Concourse inside Chase Field where fans can enjoy a Latin vibe that includes specialized décor, live music and authentic regional food from local favorites such as El Güero Canelo. Activation in La Terraza will occur during 28 out of the 81 regular season home games. Dates are listed below:

Los D-backs Fiesta de la Familia
The D-backs will host eight Los D-backs Fiesta de la Familia events presented by Fry's Food Stores prior to   D-backs games this season. The events will include Iive music, authentic Hispanic foods and family entertainment. Dates and locations are listed below:

La Cueva de Los D-backs
D-backs fans can now catch up on their favorite team and players in Spanish with La Cueva de Los D-backs. The new free monthly game publication will be distributed at Chase Field and various locations throughout the Phoenix metro area.
 
Hispanic Concert presented by Sprint
Back by popular demand for 2016 will be a postgame Hispanic Concert set for Saturday, July 16. Previous acts have included names like Banda El Recodo, Montéz de Durango, Cristian Castro and most recently Luis Coronel.                                              
 
Hispanic Heritage Day presented by Budweiser
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Day with the D-backs on Saturday, September 10 when they take on the Giants. Enjoy the Hispanic Heritage Day Street Festival presented by APS that includes food, music and entertainment. The first 20,000 fans in attendance at this game will receive a Los D-backs Soccer Jersey, courtesy of Pepsi.
