Phillies & Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce to Host New "Business Behind Home Plate" Luncheon

New business-networking luncheon featuring Phillies players and executives to be held on April 1 at Citizens Bank Park

Here is a great way to do business and have some Phillies fun.

The Phillies and the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to host a new "Business Behind Home Plate" event on Friday, April 1, at Citizens Bank Park. This unique, interactive business-networking luncheon will give attendees an inside look into the team's culture and the business of baseball. Among the highlights will be question-and answer-sessions with several Phillies A-list players and top executives including the team's General Manager Matt Klentak, President Andy MacPhail, and Manager Pete Mackanin.

During the luncheon, guests will also have the chance to meet Phillies alumni, the Phillie Phanatic and broadcast announcers, as well as partake in photo opportunities with the 2008 World Series trophy. Each individual ticket purchased to the event includes a voucher for two tickets to any Phillies home game in April or May, excluding Nemours Opening Day.

Registration and the networking portion of the event is from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by the luncheon from 12:00 p.m. to 1 p.m. and the official program from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Individual tickets cost $90, with multiple ticket packages at a discount.
