Dyson feeling better, resumes light throwing

SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Royals outfielder Jarrod Dyson, out with a Grade 2 oblique strain, is beginning to do light throwing and said he doesn't expect to miss more than two weeks of the regular season.

"It's a process," Dyson said. "I'm feeling better.

"I'm moving around a little bit in the weight room, but just body weights. Haven't picked up a bat yet. I miss that."

Dyson said he isn't sure when he can resume hitting.

"Just make sure all the pain is out of there first so I don't re-injure it," Dyson said.

While the Royals break camp two weeks from Saturday, it is possible Dyson will stay behind in extended spring to continue his rehab.
