Mets holding search for national anthem singer

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- The Mets will host their 2016 Anthem Search on March 22 from 10 a.m. to noon ET at Citi Field. The first 100 contestants to arrive are guaranteed an audition to sing a song of their choice -- excluding the national anthem -- a cappella. Finalists will advance to a callback round, with the winner performing the anthem on Aug. 2 during the Subway Series.

Singers of all ages are invited, though those 18 and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

This year's celebrity judges are Z100 radio personality Skeery Jones, PIX11 News anchor John Muller and Tony Award-nominated singer Judy Kuhn.
