The Seattle Mariners are celebrating the epic saga of good vs. evil during a special Star Wars Weekend at Safeco Field.

The fun begins on Friday, August 19 with a Star Wars-themed fireworks show after the Mariners vs. Milwaukee Brewers game (7:10pm first pitch). The pyrotechnics will be set to the series' Academy Award-winning grand symphonic score by composer John Williams. On Saturday, August 20, Return of the Jedi, Episode VI in theStar Wars series, will be shown on MarinersVision after the Mariners vs. Milwaukee game (6:10pm first pitch). At 56'x201', Safeco Field's HD videoscreen is the largest in Major League Baseball, and one of the largest in North America, making it possibly the largest screen ever to show a Star Wars movie.
