Yankees 1B Mark Teixeira, K-State Director of Athletics John Currie and a Syracuse University rep will join bowl executives, Rock of Ages, K-State band members and Willie the Wildcat. Festivities will also include the unveiling of the George M. Steinbrenner championship trophy, which will be presented to the bowl game's winning team.

Syracuse University and Kansas State University will play each other in the first-ever New Era Pinstripe Bowl on Thursday, December 30 at Yankee Stadium. Kickoff is set for 3:22 p.m. The game will be nationally televised by ESPN, and can also be heard nationally on ESPN Radio.
