Royals single-game tickets on sale February 26

Fans may register online for the opportunity to purchase Opening Night tickets

Single-game tickets for the Kansas City Royals 2016 season go on-sale exclusively online at www.royals.com on Friday, February 26 at 10 a.m. (CST). The Royals will make every regular-season home game (excluding Opening Night, April 3) available during the online sale.

Due to limited seat availability for Opening Night, fans may register online at www.royals.com/openingnight starting today through Friday, March 4 at noon for the chance to purchase Opening Night tickets. The online lottery winners will be notified via email on or around Wednesday, March 9 and will receive a special passcode to use for their Opening Night purchase. The only way to guarantee Opening Night tickets at this time is to purchase a 2016 Royals 81-game or 41-game season ticket plan.

In addition to online availability, single-game tickets for all home games, excluding Opening Night, will also be available by phone at 1-800-6ROYALS beginning Saturday, February 27 at 9 a.m.

Fans who choose not to use the club's convenient online or phone options may purchase tickets at the Kauffman Stadium Box Office beginning Monday, February 29 at 9 a.m.

The Royals will continue a variable pricing structure for all single-game sales in 2016. Games will be categorized as value, classic, select, prime and marquee. In addition, the club will employ its dynamic pricing structure for all 81 home games. Please note that the dynamic pricing structure affects the sale of individual game tickets only and does not affect the sale of season tickets.
