Royals Charities donates $1.5 million in 2015

122 Area Organizations Received Funding

Royals Charities, the charitable foundation of the Kansas City Royals, has announced funding of $1.5 million in 2015 to 122 organizations and governmental entities in the Kansas City area that support children, education, youth baseball/softball and the military.
The 2015 grant cycle represents more donations than ever before to area organizations. They include Big Brother Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City, The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City, Dream Factory, El Centro, Fort Leavenworth, Kansas RBI, KVC Health Systems, MOKAN 20/20 Leadership, Operation Breakthrough, Special Olympics KC Metro, The University of Kansas Hospital NICU and Whiteman Air Force Base.
Royals Charities has now donated more than $10.5 million to Kansas City area charities since 2001. All 501(c)(3) organizations operating in the Kansas City area that support children, education, youth baseball/softball and the military are welcome to apply for a Royals Charities grant. The deadline for the spring grant cycle is March 1, 2016.
