Founded by Rizzs and former Mariners outfielder Dave Henderson, Toys For Kids is a non-profit organization that raises funds each year to purchase toys and gifts for children in the greater Seattle area that might not otherwise receive them. This year's fundraising dinner and auction brought in over $308,000 to benefit several hospitals and organizations that serve homeless and needy families.
Beneficiaries of Toys For Kids include Seattle Children's Hospital, Seattle Ronald McDonald House, Harborview Medical Center, The Country Doctor, Seattle Children's Home, First Place, Union Gospel Mission Women and Children Shelter, Broadview Women's Shelter, Atlantic Street Center, First Avenue Service Center, Hopelink, Vision House and YWCA Seattle Emergency Housing.
