Phanta Claus, Charlie Manuel & Live Reindeer! Fan Fun Set for Phillies Holiday Sale & Tree Lighting on December 5

Broadcasters Ben Davis, Tom McCarthy, Scott Franzke and Larry Andersen to join 2008 World Series Manager Charlie Manuel, Alumni and Coach Mickey Morandini, Phanta Claus, Live Reindeer, Sportsradio 94WIP, Ralphie and Randy from Walnut Street Theatre's 'A Christmas Story', and more at Saturday's free fan event

Phanta Claus is coming to town - with his reindeer - and he's bringing lots of holiday fun to the Phillies Holiday Sale & Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 5, at the Majestic Clubhouse Store at Citizens Bank Park.

For the first time at the event, fans will have the chance to take photos with live reindeer on the Main Concourse, visit Phanta Claus, take images of the decorated Phillies Clubhouse, take holiday photos on the field and in the dugouts, and engage in holiday #selfies with 2008 World Series manager Charlie Manuel.

Also on site will be the Phillies broadcasters, who will be available for a meet and greet, and Sportsradio 94WIP will be broadcasting live. Plus, fans can enjoy Christmas music throughout the day, courtesy of 98.1 WOGL. The free and fun shopping day will culminate with the team's Tree Lighting tradition at the Third Base Plaza, which will include Phanta Claus, first base coach and alumnus Mickey Morandini, and other special guests - including Ralphie and Randy from Walnut Street Theatre's 'A Christmas Story' - who will lead fans in a countdown to illuminate the Phillies' ballpark and Christmas tree with thousands of twinkling lights.

In addition, the event will include plenty of opportunities for holiday shopping and feature a Fit in the Bag shopping sale: with the purchase of a Phillies reusable bag, fans will receive 30% off whatever will fit in the bag.

"We've had a lot of fun planning this year's big holiday shopping event," said Scott Brandreth, Director, Phillies Merchandising. "Where else would you be able to find reindeer, Phanta Claus and Charlie Manuel all in one place? We look forward to celebrating the holidays on December 5 with our fans at this free and fun outing."

Free parking is available in Lot S, located off Pattison Avenue between Broad Street and Citizens Bank Way (must mention Phillies event to get free parking). Please visit www.phillies.com/events or call the Majestic Clubhouse Store at 267-570-2333 for the most up-to-date schedule.
