The Chicago White Sox have announced an exclusive Chris Sale bobblehead as the weekend package premium item for SoxFest 2016 - sponsored by Miller Lite, Comcast SportsNet, Beggars Pizza and WGN-TV. SoxFest 2016 will be held at the Hilton Chicago on Friday, January 29 through Sunday, January 31, 2016.
This season, Sale broke the White Sox single-season record for strikeouts (274), surpassing Hall of Famer Ed Walsh's 107-year-old mark. The lefty ace also joined Billy Pierce (1955-59) as the only pitchers in White Sox history to make at least four straight American League All-Star Teams, and in 2015, Sale became the only White Sox player to strike out 10-plus batters in four straight starts.
To receive the exclusive SoxFest 2016 Chris Sale bobblehead, fans can purchase weekend packages at whitesox.com/SoxFest. The weekend package includes a two-night stay at the Hilton Chicago, up to four SoxFest 2016 weekend passes and special Friday night access.
The only way to purchase weekend passes is by securing a two-night SoxFest hotel package through whitesox.com. SoxFest hotel reservations at the Hilton Chicago are $304 for a two-night stay (price does not include applicable taxes, fees and costs for weekend passes).
Weekend passes are $40 for adults. Focusing on the team's youngest fans, the White Sox are offering reduced weekend passes for children (ages 4 to 13) for just $10. These passes will include access to children-only events throughout the weekend, including video game tournaments, special activities in the interactive play zones and more.
Current and former players as well as coaches scheduled to attend SoxFest will be announced at a later date. In addition, individual passes to SoxFest will be on sale at a later date in January.
SoxFest 2016 invites fans to meet their favorite White Sox players and past greats. Fans will have access to special autograph, photo and question-and-answer sessions, the popular SoxFest Garage Sale and special interactive activities throughout the weekend.
