Pair of doubles gets Dodgers on board in 4th

LOS ANGELES -- Justin Turner and Andre Ethier hit back-to-back doubles off Noah Syndergaard to begin the bottom of the fourth inning and get the Dodgers on the board vs. the Mets in Game 2 of the National League Division Series on Saturday night at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers would take the lead in the seventh and hold on to win, 5-2.

After Turner provided the spark with a ground-rule double that bounced over the left-field wall, Ethier followed with an RBI double to right field that cut the Mets' lead to 2-1. Ethier was retired attempting to advance to third base on a Carl Crawford comebacker, and Syndergaard escaped the inning without incurring any further damage.

Syndergaard had notched six strikeouts while limiting the Dodgers to two hits -- a pair of third-inning singles -- through the first three innings. New York gained an early lead when Michael Conforto and Yoenis Cespedes hit solo homers off Zack Greinke in the second inning.
