Rangers go for righty relievers on ALDS roster

TORONTO -- The Rangers have revealed their postseason roster for the American League Division Series, and the bullpen includes right-handers Ross Ohlendorf and Chi Chi Gonzalez over left-handers Andrew Faulkner and Sam Freeman.

The best-of-five Division Series against the Blue Jays begins today at 2:30 p.m. CT (Fox Sports 1).

Game Date Result
Gm 1 Oct. 8 TEX 5, TOR 3
Gm 2 Oct. 9 TEX 6, TOR 4
Gm 3 Oct. 11 TOR 5, TEX 1

The Rangers included five starting pitchers, so either Martin Perez, Derek Holland or Colby Lewis will be used out of the bullpen. It most likely will be the left-handed Perez since Jake Diekman would otherwise be the only lefty in the bullpen.

Chris Gimenez and Robinson Chirinos will be the catchers.
