• Gear up for the Dodgers' postseason
The NLDS will open with games at Dodger Stadium on Friday and Saturday. After a travel day on Sunday, the series shifts to Citi Field for games on Monday, Oct. 12 and, if needed, Tuesday, Oct. 13. If a Game 5 is needed, it will be in Los Angeles next Thursday, Oct. 15.
"I think [the home-field advantage] definitely helps, but it's not the deciding factor like the NFL or NBA, where it's a huge, huge deal, but it helps," said Greinke. "Pitching at home, you're always a little bit more comfortable, but I feel pretty good pitching in New York, also. It's a pretty nice park to be in and it's a pretty comfortable place to pitch."
The Mets announced Saturday that right-hander Jacob deGrom will start Game 1. The Dodgers have not announced whether Clayton Kershaw or Greinke will start the NLDS opener.
The Dodgers had home-field advantage last year against the Cardinals, but lost in four games.
