KANSAS CITY, MO - The American League Central Division Champion Kansas City Royals have announced a special "Take The Crown" postseason rally at Kauffman Stadium. The event will take place on Tuesday, October 6 and is free to the public.
FOX Sports Kansas City's Ryan Lefebvre and Rex Hudler will host the event and be joined on the field by General Manager Dayton Moore, Manager Ned Yost and select Royals players. Sluggerrr and the KCrew will also be on hand to entertain fans, distribute Royals prizes and more.
In addition, the Majestic Team Store will be open for fans to purchase official Royals postseason merchandise. Fans can also stop by Royals Authentics for a wide selection of Major League Baseball authenticated items, including game-used bats, baseballs, jerseys, batting gloves and more used by the playoff-bound 2015 Royals. Select concessions will also be available.
To wrap up the event, fans can watch the Royals take batting practice and listen to player interviews while the team prepares for the American League Division Series.
All gates to the Truman Sports Complex will open at 10 a.m. Following the event, the Royals are asking fans to exit the stadium by 2:30 p.m.
