Postgame Fireworks and Fan Appreciation Day Highlights 12th Homestand

The Pirates return to PNC Park for the 12th and final homestand of the season. The Bucs will play a three-game series with the St. Louis Cardinals and a weekend series with the Cincinnati Reds to close out their 129th regular season schedule. 

 This homestand is highlighted by University Days on Wednesday, September 30, postgame fireworks on Saturday, October 3 and Fan Appreciation Day on Sunday, October 4.  

Pack PNC: The Pirates are making Outfield Reserve and Grandstand tickets available this entire homestand for just $25 and each ticket includes $10 in Loaded Value to be used on concessions throughout PNC Park. Fans can purchase the special tickets at pirates.com/stretch while supplies last. 

Monday, September 28, 2015-Pirates vs. St. Louis Cardinals (7:05 p.m.) 

Jersey Boys: Tonight the cast of the Broadway touring production of Jersey Boys will perform the National Anthem at PNC Park.

Bob Feller Award: Pirates pitcher Charlie Morton and Cardinals pitcher Steve Cishek were each named one of 15 finalists for the Bob Feller Act of Valor award. Tonight the two will be recognized on the field in a pregame ceremony. The award is given to the players that reflect the values, integrity and dedication to serving our country that Bob Feller himself possessed.

Tony and Mark: Tonight the Pirates will honor their pitching set-up and save tandem Tony Watson and Mark Melancon in a pregame ceremony. The ceremony is in recognition of Melancon's team single-season "save" record & Watson's team single-season "holds" record. As of Monday, September 28, Watson leads all Major League relievers with a club-record 41 "holds" this season, breaking his previous mark of 34 that Watson set last year. Melancon has a club record and MLB-leading 51 saves. Melancon is one of just 12 pitchers in history to earn 50 saves in a season (15th time overall).

Tuesday, September 29, 2015-Pirates vs. St. Louis Cardinals (7:05 p.m.) 

Pups in the Park: Fans can enjoy Bucco baseball with their pooch as the Pirates present the last of 10 Pup Nights at PNC Park this season. Each ticket package (1 person & 1 dog) costs just $30 with additional human tickets available for $30 each. Diabetes Awareness Month: Allegheny Health Network and the Diabetes Foundation will be on hand in recognition of Diabetes Awareness Month as Hall of Famer and National Diabetes spokesperson Lou Brock will throw out a first pitch.

Wednesday, September 30, 2015-Pirates vs. St. Louis Cardinals (7:05 p.m.) 

University Days with Point Park University and University of Pittsburgh: Tonight is the last of the Pirates University Days of 2015 with Point Park University and the University of Pittsburgh. All fans who purchase University Day tickets will receive a ticket in one of two special sections and a free Pirates/Point Park University hat or a free Pirates/University of Pittsburgh hat. Students, alumni and fans of these local universities are invited to cheer on the Pirates together at PNC Park. Salute: Tonight members of the 911th airlift wing, who just returned from a tour of duty in Afghanistan, will present an American flag that flew above their camp to Pirates Chairman Bob Nutting in a pregame ceremony.

Friday, October 2, 2015-Pirates vs. Cincinnati Reds (7:05 p.m.)  

Block Party: Tonight the Pirates and Baierl Automotive will host their Friday Block Party on Federal Street. Fans can party on the street with live music, featuring Switch, along with food and beverage sales. Pirates alumni Bob Robertson will be the special guest bartender at the Leinenkugel Bar on Federal Street.

Free Shirt Friday: Tonight the first 20,000 fans with paid admission to PNC Park will receive a Pirates Free Shirt Friday tee, compliments of ServiceLink.

Miller Lite Party on the Deck: Tonight fans have the chance to join Miller Lite for a tailgate party atmosphere on the Pirates Deck. The Miller Lite 1,000 Seats of Summer Ticket Package includes your Pirates game ticket, $10 of Loaded Value credit good for concessions and merchandise throughout PNC Park and a Miller Lite merchandise pack. Saturday, October 3, 2015-Pirates vs. Cincinnati Reds (7:05 p.m.) 

Cheer Day: Today on Federal Street the Pirates will host the Pittsburgh Home Run Championship Series with AmeriCheer. All Star cheer and dance teams, school cheer and dance teams and recreational cheer and dance teams will compete is a US Finals Qualifier starting at 8 a.m. and the groups will stay to cheer on the Pirates at PNC Park. 

Block Party: Come down early to join us before today's game for the Saturday Block Party on Federal Street. Fans are invited to come party on the street as food and beer sales will be available. Pirates alumni Steve Blass will be the special guest bartender at the Leinenkugel Bar on Federal Street.

Zambelli Fireworks Night: Fans are encouraged to stay in their seats immediately following the game and enjoy an amazing fireworks display presented by Zambelli Fireworks International. 

Scratch and Win: Everyone is a winner with the special Scratch 'n Win presented by Eat 'n Park. All fans will receive a scratch-off ticket upon entering PNC Park with an opportunity to win one of several great prizes.

Magnetic Schedule: Tonight all fans with paid admission to PNC Park will receive a 2016 Pirates Magnetic Schedule, presented by PNC Bank.

Sunday, October 4, 2015-Pirates vs. Cincinnati Reds (3:05 p.m.)-Kids Day  

Kids Day: Come down early and join the fun as the #1 Cochran Family Fun Zone will be open on Federal Street from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.  Lined up outside PNC Park will be inflatable rides, face painting, information about the Bucaroos Kids Club, brought to you by Chick-fil-A, and more. Stick around after the game where kids are invited to "Run The Bases" presented by The Original Pizza Logs.

Kids Pirates Eye Black: All kids 14 and younger will receive a Kids Pirates Eye Black, courtesy of Chick-fil-A.

Fan Appreciation Day: Throughout today's game, prizes will be given out to select ticket holders as part of the Pirates Fan Appreciation Day. Prizes include gift cards, 2016 Pirates tickets and more. Also the Pirates will be announcing seat locations of fans throughout the game who have been chosen for the opportunity to go onto the field post-game and receive a game worn jersey autographed by the Pirates player.

Batman and Rammer: Today the Pirates will pay tribute to the careers of pitcher AJ Burnett and infielder Aramis Ramirez in a pregame ceremony. Burnett and Ramirez will retire at the end of the 2015 season as each has enjoyed a long and historic career in Major League Baseball. 

Postseason Registrations

Pirates fans may begin to register for the chance to purchase 2015 individual Postseason tickets at pirates.com/postseason. The Pirates are making a very limited number of individual Postseason tickets available through this special online-only presale opportunity. This registration process allows all fans an equal chance at the opportunity to purchase Postseason tickets prior to the general public on-sale. Fans must complete and submit the form on pirates.com/postseason to be registered. Fans are required to register just once for the continued chance at an opportunity to purchase individual tickets to all rounds of the 2015 Postseason. Included in the registration are opportunities for the potential Championship Series and World Series.

Located on the main concourse behind section 125, the Hunt Auctions kiosk is your one and only source for game-used and autographed items at PNC Park. Stop by to check out our new autographed and game-used products featuring Gerrit Cole, Pedro Alvarez, Andrew McCutchen, Jung Ho Kang, Francisco Cervelli, A.J. Burnett, Francisco Liriano and more.

This homestand the Pirates will have several game-used bases for sale at the Hunt Auction kiosk from the entire Pirates vs. Cardinals series.

Pirates Charities 50/50 Raffles

The Pirates Charities 50/50 Raffle, supported by Rivers Casino, is back for the 2015 season. The 50/50 Raffles will take place during each Pirates home game throughout the season. Raffle ticket prices are three (3) tickets for $5, 10 tickets for $10 and 40 tickets for $20 with all proceeds benefiting Pirates Charities. Raffle ticket sales close after the last out in the sixth inning. The winning number will be drawn, announced in the 8th inning and the winner will receive 50 percent of the total pot. Winning numbers will also be posted on pirates.com/5050raffle within three business days.
