OAKLAND, Calif. - The Oakland Athletics and Cache Creek Casino Resort have agreed to a five-year extension of their corporate partnership, it was announced today.
The renewed partnership includes the installation of a 13' by 60' channel sign, which will be placed adjacent to the north scoreboard at O.co Coliseum. Cache Creek becomes the first A's partner to have a freestanding channel sign atop the 300 level of seats.
"Cache Creek Casino Resort has been a loyal, high-profile partner of the Athletics for nearly two decades," said Jim Leahey, A's Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "Through promotions such as Cache Creek Saturdays, they have become synonymous with the A's brand of fun and affordable entertainment."
In addition to Cache Creek Saturdays, the Brooks, Calif. resort has been the presenting sponsor of both Filipino and Korean Heritage nights, at least two premium giveaways per season and a partner in A's radio and in-stadium promotions.
"We've appreciated our strong, enduring partnership with the Oakland A's," said Mike Leonard, Cache Creek's Vice President, Marketing. "The team's exciting brand of 'Green Collar Baseball' has long been popular with our own fans at Cache Creek Casino Resort. The renewed agreement, including our beautiful new signage in the Coliseum, represents Cache Creek's solid commitment to the A's, as well as to all the loyal baseball fans in Northern California."
