White Sox host 'Fan Appreciation Day' on October 4

All Fans in Attendance Will Receive Ticket Voucher for 2016 Home Game; Thousands of Gifts and Prizes to Be Distributed at U.S. Cellular Field

The Chicago White Sox will show appreciation for the dedication and passion White Sox fans displayed throughout the season with "Fan Appreciation Day" on Sunday, October 4 when the team takes on Detroit at 2:10 p.m. All fans in attendance on that day will receive a free ticket voucher for a 2016 April or May home game (excluding Opening Day).

In addition to receiving a free ticket voucher, Sox fans can enjoy half-priced appetizers at the ChiSox Bar & Grill, as well as the final day of the end-of-season clearance tent sale. This sale, located right next to the Chicago Sports Depot, features merchandise marked down 30 to 75 percent.

Throughout Sunday's Fan Appreciation Day, fans will have the opportunity to win an array of prizes that will be randomly distributed throughout the ballpark. One lucky fan will win a 20-person suite for a 2016 April or May home game (excluding Opening Day and the Boston Red Sox series). Fans also will have the opportunity to win autographed sports memorabilia, on-field experiences, such as the "play ball" announcement, an on-field photo, line-up card exchange, attend batting practice and more.

Fans also will have the opportunity to pick up prizes at the #SoxSocial Lounge at the ballpark when they stop by to check out the Twitter Vending Machine or check in at U.S. Cellular Field through the MLB.com Ballpark app.

The season's final Family Sunday, presented by The University of Chicago Medicine Comer Children's Hospital, features balloonists, caricature artist, face painters, magnet art and postgame kids run the bases (weather permitting). Tickets for Family Sunday are available for as low as $5 in the Upper Level and $15 in the Lower Level, with $10 parking.
