Marlins begin final homestand of 2015 tomorrow, hosting Philadelphia and Atlanta for six games

Homestand features Back to the Future Night, Hispanic Heritage Night and Closing Day

The Marlins begin their final homestand of the season on Tuesday, taking on the Philadelphia Phillies in a three-game set. Following the series, Miami face the Atlanta Braves for three games. Miami went 6-3 in their recent homestand, winning all three series.

The Marlins wrap up the first series of the homestand on Thursday, September 24, which is Domestic Violence Prevention Night at Marlins Park. Fans who purchase the special event package will receive a game ticket and a Dee Gordon "Flash of Hope" T-shirt. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Women in Distress of Broward County, The Flash of Hope Program and The Lodge of Miami-Dade County.

On Friday, the Marlins begin the final series at Marlins Park on Back to the Future Night benefitting The Michael J. Fox Foundation. The final Friday theme night is presented by Pepsi. The special event package includes a game ticket, a limited edition Billy McFly bobblehead and a meet-and-greet with Back to the Future actress Claudia Wells, and film creator and director Bob Gale. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Michael J. Fox Foundation. In addition, fans will have the chance to take their photo with a custom Back to the Future DeLorean at the Skyline Terrace.

The homestand will also celebrate South Florida Ford Hispanic Heritage Night on Saturday, Sept. 26, and Nicaraguan Heritage Day on Sunday, Sept. 27. The special event package for Hispanic Heritage Night includes a game ticket and a limited edition Marlins maraca. The special event package for Nicaraguan Heritage Day includes a game ticket and a meet-and-greet with former MLB All-Star Dennis Martinez. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the American Nicaraguan Foundation.

Sunday, Sept. 27, marks Closing Day at Marlins Park for the 2015 season. All fans will receive a 2016 Marlins Magnetic Schedule courtesy of Miccosukee Resort & Gaming. The Marlins open the 2016 season at home for the third consecutive year, taking on the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday, April 5. Fans can guarantee themselves access to the 2017 All-Star Game at Marlins Park by purchasing as little as a 20-game mini plan for the 2016 season.
