LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers announced today that their first two potential home games for the Division Series and their first potential home game for the League Championship Series are sold out. A public on sale began at 10:00 a.m. today on www.dodgers.com and tickets sold out in less than one hour. A limited number of tickets remain for a potential Division Series Game 5 (Home game 3) and potential League Championship Series Games 2, 5 or 6/7 (Home games 2 or 3/4) at Dodger Stadium.
Should the Dodgers win the National League West and have the best or second-best record of the three division winners, they would open postseason play at home on Friday, October 9. Game 2 would be Saturday, October 10 and Game 5 (if necessary) on Thursday, October 15. If Los Angeles finishes the regular season with the worst record of the division winners, it would host Game 3 on Monday, October 12 and Game 4, if necessary, on Tuesday, October 13.
The National League Championship Series begins on Saturday, October 17. If the Dodgers advance and have a better regular-season record than their NLCS opponent or play the Wild Card team, they would host Game 1 on Saturday, October 17 and Game 2 Sunday, October 18 at Dodger Stadium and return home Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25 for Games 6 and 7 (if necessary). If Los Angeles is a lower seed than its NLCS opponent, it would host Game 3 on Tuesday, October 20, Game 4 on Wednesday, October 21 and, if necessary, Game 5 on Tuesday, October 22.
For all postseason games, tickets are not purchased for a specific date, but for a corresponding home game in each postseason round. Times of the games will be announced at a later date and refunds will be issued for all games that are not played. The Dodgers' postseason schedule can be viewed online at www.dodgers.com/postseason.
Parking prices for the Division Series will be $15 in advance and $25 at the gate for general parking. League Championship Series parking is $20 in advance and $35 at the gate for general parking. Parking can be purchased in advance at www.dodgers.com/parking.
