Soxfest 2016 hotel packages on sale September 23

The Chicago White Sox have announced two-night SoxFest hotel packages at the Hilton Chicago for SoxFest 2016 - sponsored by Miller Lite, Comcast SportsNet, Beggars Pizza and WGN-TV - along with weekend passes to the event will go on sale on Wednesday, September 23 at 10 a.m. CT at The 24th annual fan event returns on Friday, January 29 through Sunday, January 31.

The White Sox will hold special pre-sale events, emailing an advance link to purchase SoxFest 2016 hotel packages and weekend passes. Fans who have signed up for the priority list will have the first opportunity to purchase on Monday, September 21 at 10 a.m. CT. Fans can register for the priority list by emailing by Friday, September 18 at 5 p.m. CT.

On Tuesday, September 22 at 10 a.m. CT, a special pre-sale for SoxFest 2016 will be available to White Sox season ticket holders, along with members of the Sox Pride Club and the Black List. Members will receive an email with a link to purchase hotel packages and weekend passes.    

Focusing on the team's youngest fans, the White Sox announced discounted weekend passes for children (ages 4 to 13) for just $10. These passes will include access to children-only events throughout the weekend, including children's autograph sessions, kids-only question-and-answer seminars, special events in the interactive play zones and much more.  

Two-night SoxFest hotel packages include exclusive access to Friday night events and are the only way to purchase weekend passes. SoxFest hotel packages at the Hilton Chicago are $304 for a two-night stay (price does not include applicable taxes, fees and costs for weekend passes). Fans who book hotel packages are eligible to also purchase up to four SoxFest weekend passes. Weekend passes will be available for $40 for each adult and for $10 for kids (ages 4 to 13).

Individual passes to SoxFest will be on sale at a later date. 

SoxFest 2016 invites fans to meet their favorite White Sox players and past greats, including members of the 2005 World Series Champion team. Fans will have access to special autograph, photo and question-and-answer sessions, the popular SoxFest Garage Sale and special interactive activities throughout the weekend.
