D-backs option Jhoulys Chacin to Triple-A Reno

Allen Webster will be recalled from Reno to start tomorrow's game

PHOENIX - Following tonight's game, the Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) optioned right-handed pitcher Jhoulys Chacín to Triple-A Reno, as announced by D-backs Sr. Vice President & General Manager Dave Stewart.

Additionally, the D-backs will recall right-handed pitcher Allen Webster from Reno tomorrow to start the series finale vs. Oakland A's.

Chacín, 27, made 2 starts with the D-backs this season, going 0-1 with a 2.70 ERA (4 ER in 13.1 IP). He did not figure in the decision tonight vs. A's, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits in 7.0 innings.

Webster, 25, will make is fifth start with Arizona tomorrow. He was 1-1 with a 6.86 ERA (16 ER in 21.0 IP) in 5 games (4 starts) with the D-backs this season. In 14 starts with the Aces, he was 3-6 with an 8.37 ERA (66 ER in 71.0 IP)
