Dodgers Present Social Media Night Friday

LOS ANGELES - The Dodgers will play host to Social Media Night Friday (7:10 p.m. vs. Cubs). A special event ticket package that includes a ticket to Friday's game and a Dodgers' Social Media Night T-shirt is available to fans for $45. The Dodgers' Social Media Night T-Shirt (images attached) features the Dodger logo and a hashtag graphic in the front and @ design where fans can promote their own social media handle in the back. This T-shirt is exclusive to fans that purchase the Dodgers' Social Media Night ticket package. Friday will also include several Social Media Night themes and elements pregame and in-game.

A photo area with a @Dodgers logo step-and-repeat will be located in the right-field plaza for fans to take and upload photos using Friday's official hashtag, #DodgersSocial. An oversized Instagram frame will also be on hand for fans. Friday will include various Instagram and Twitter fan takeover opportunities from the Dodgers' official accounts. In-game giveaways include an honorary first pitch at another Dodger game this season.

Dodger Stadium was the second most Instagrammed location in the world last year. The Dodgers have nearly three million likes on Facebook (5th in MLB with 2.8 million). The Dodgers are also approaching one million followers on Instagram (2nd in MLB with 915,000). The club has nearly 800,000 followers on Twitter (7th in MLB with 797,000). Additionally, the Dodgers introduced a blogger spot in the press box in 2009 and since then, have regularly allowed access to non-traditional media.
