The Rockies have not made an official announcement on Hundley's injury. Manager Walt Weiss said Hundley "got dinged on a straight foul tip, took a good shot, and was a little woozy, so we got him out of there."
Weiss did not know if Hundley had undergone concussion protocol, which often happens in such instances. But a club spokesman checked with the training staff and said the only announcement was that Hundley was removed for precautionary reasons.
Dustin Garneau caught the final four frames and went 1-for-3.
Hundley was 1-for-1 with a walk Saturday, and he is batting .304 with nine home runs and 47 RBIs in the first year of a two-year, $6.25 million contract.
