The 2016 induction class of the Latino Baseball Hall of Fame will be revealed live on MLB Network's The Rundown tomorrow, August 21 at 2:00 p.m. ET. Three-time All-Star, 1994 National League Manager of the Year and 2012 Latino Baseball Hall of Fame inductee Felipe Alou will be joined for the announcement at MLB Network's studios by four-time World Series champion and fellow Latino Baseball Hall of Famer Bernie Williams.
For the third consecutive year, inductees will be revealed on MLB Network's The Rundown, as hosts Kelly Nash and Matt Yallof, analyst Cliff Floyd and insider Peter Gammons conduct live interviews with the inductees.
Inaugurated in the city of La Romana in the Dominican Republic in 2010, the Latino Baseball Hall of Fame is designed to honor the contribution of Latin American players to the game of baseball and to honor the greats who have been part of its rich history. Past Latino Baseball Hall of Fame inductees include 2015 National Baseball Hall of Fame inductee and MLB Network analyst Pedro Martinez, Roberto Alomar, Luis Arroyo, Roberto Clemente, Juan Marichal, Tony Oliva, Tony Perez and Luis Tiant.
