Pitcher David Hale reinstated from disabled list

·         Hale, who turns 28 on Sept. 27, has been on the DL since July 10 due to a left groin strain.
·         In his first season with Colorado, he is 3-4 with a 5.69 ERA (49.0 IP, 31 ER) in nine games, including eight starts…he will start tonight's series opener at Coors Field against the Washington Nationals.
·         He began the year on Colorado's 15-day disabled list (strained left oblique)…he was reinstated and optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque on April 26.  
·         Hale was called up twice as the 26th man for doubleheaders prior to being recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque on June 8…placed on the DL with the groin injury July 10.
·         Since making his debut with the Atlanta Braves on Sept. 13, 2013, he has an 8-9 Major League record with a 3.91 ERA (147.1 IP, 64 ER) over 56 games and 16 starts.
·         His 2015 Minor League statistics are a combined 0-4 with a 6.46 ERA (46.0 IP, 33 ER) over 10 starts, including four rehabilitation outings…he has made nine starts with Albuquerque and one for Class-A Modesto.
 
The Rockies currently have a full 40-man roster.
