Texas Rangers announce Welcome Back Derek ticket special for Wednesday's game with Seattle

Upper deck tickets priced at just $4.50 for 1:05 homestand finale

Arlington, Texas - Derek Holland is scheduled to make his first start since the 2015 home opener on Wednesday afternoon, and the Texas Rangers are offering a ticket special to welcome back the left-hander.

The club announced today that Upper Box, Upper Reserved, and Grandstand Reserved tickets are now on sale for just $4.50 each for Wednesday's 1:05 p.m. series finale against the Seattle Mariners.

Holland, who wears #45, has been on the disabled list since April 11 with a left shoulder strain. He worked just 1.0 inning in his first 2015 start the previous day, the home opener against Houston, before leaving with the injury. Holland has made four total starts on rehab assignment at Double-A Frisco (1) and Triple-A Round Rock (3), last on August 14 for the Express against Colorado Springs (5.0 IP, 4 H, 2 R-ER, 1 BB, 8 SO).

The Welcome Back Derek discount tickets can be purchased at texasrangers.com by using the coupon code HOLLAND. The ticket special is also available by calling 972-RANGERS or at the Globe Life Park in Arlington First Base Box Office today or tomorrow.

After a four-game series in Detroit, the Rangers return to Arlington for a six-game homestand with Toronto and Baltimore beginning on Tuesday, August 25.
