D-backs recall Zack Godley from Double-A Mobile, optioned Chase Anderson to Triple-A Reno following last night's game

PHOENIX - The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) recalled right-handed pitcher Zack Godley (@godleyzt) from Double-A Mobile today after optioning right-handed pitcher Chase Anderson to Triple-A Reno following last night's game, as announced by D-backs Sr. Vice President & General Manager Dave Stewart.

Godley, 25, is 3-0 with a 1.50 ERA (3 ER in 18.0 IP), .226 opponents average (14-for-62) and 17 strikeouts in 3 starts with the D-backs this season. He is the second D-backs starter to win his first 3 Major League outings (also Chase Anderson in 2014). In 19 games (15 starts) between Mobile and Single-A Advanced Visalia, he is 9-4 with a 2.62 ERA (27 ER in 92.2 IP), .233 opponents average (80-for-343) and 87 strikeouts.

Anderson, 27, is 5-5 with a 4.51 ERA (61 ER in 121.2 IP), .280 opponents average (130-for-465) and 84 strikeouts in 21 starts (10 quality) this season.
