  • John Smoltz Bobblehead Night presented by Coca-Cola and Delta Air Lines: The first 20,000 fans will receive a John Smoltz bobblehead.
    • The night will also feature a video tribute and special Hall of Fame presentation at home plate with John Smoltz and John Schuerholz.
    • John Smoltz's National Baseball Hall of Fame Plaque will be at Turner Field from August 14-15. The plaque will be available for public viewing in the Hank Aaron Room (located near section 124) from the second inning until the end of the game on August 14. On August 15, the plaque will be available for viewing from the time gates open through the end of the game.
  • "Going to Bat" Anti-Bullying Rally: The Atlanta Braves are teaming up with Up With People and the North Fulton Rotary Club to present the "Going to Bat" Anti-Bullying Rally in Fan Plaza starting at 5:40 p.m. Up With People is a global education and arts organization whose goal is to bridge cultural barriers and create understanding through service and music. As part of the presentation, fans will have the opportunity to see the Braves Anti-Bullying PSA. To purchase tickets for this special event, visit www.braves.com/upwithpeople.
  • Friday Night Fireworks presented by Georgia Lottery: Fans will be treated to a dazzling display of fireworks over Turner Field following every Friday home game throughout the season.

Saturday, August 15 at 7:10 p.m.

  • Military Heroes Night: The Braves will celebrate the heroes that represent our nation's military, past and present, with a special pregame ceremony. The evening will include:
    • U.S. Special Ops Para Commandos parachuting into Turner Field with the game ball.
    • U.S. Navy Reserves recognized on field for their 100th anniversary.
    • Ceremonial First Pitch thrown out by Rear Admiral Kent Davis.
    • Two WWII veterans will be introduced and honored on the field.
    • A Purple Heart medal from a WWII casualty will be reunited with his family.
    • Flyover by four WWII-era planes from the Commemorative Air Force, Dixie Wing, out of Peachtree City, Ga., in honor of the 70th anniversary of WWII.
  • UMPS CARE Charities: UMPS CARE Charities provides financial, in-kind and emotional support for America's youth and families in need. The Umpires from UMPIRES CARE Charities will meet and take photos with mentor and mentees from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Atlanta before the game.
  • Jonny Gomes and Jace Peterson autograph signing: From 12-1 p.m., Braves players Jonny Gomes and Jace Peterson will be signing autographs for fans at the Braves Clubhouse Store at CNN Center to raise money for TroopsDirect, Jonny Gomes' supported charity.
    • To receive an autograph from both Braves players, fans are asked to make a minimum donation of $40 to TroopsDirect (www.TroopsDirect.org). Donations can be made in the form of cash or credit and are tax-deductible.
    • The first 250 fans that make a donation are guaranteed an autograph from both players. After the first 250, it will be first come first serve, but there are no guarantees for an autograph after 1 p.m.
    • TroopsDirect functions as a non-profit on-demand supply line for American units based anywhere on the globe.
  • Atlanta Braves Foundation Field Refurbishment: In honor of Chipper Jones' retirement from baseball, the Braves Foundation pledged to refurbish ten baseball fields throughout metro Atlanta. This season the Braves will refurbish their third field, located at Powder Springs Park. Braves players Cameron Maybin and Ross Detwiler will be on hand for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the new and improved fields. Additionally, signage acknowledging Chipper Jones and the refurbishment will be permanently installed at each location. The event will take place from 10-11 a.m.
  • Atlanta Braves and Baseball Tomorrow Fund's Equipment Drive: The Atlanta Braves and the Baseball Tomorrow Fund are encouraging fans to support the growth of baseball in the metro Atlanta community. Donate new and gently used baseball and softball equipment on August 15 and 16 prior to the Braves game. Visit the Braves tent in Monument Grove from the time gates open until the end of the first inning to drop off your equipment. All donors are entered into a raffle to receive autographed Braves memorabilia.
  • Band of the Year: Revel In Romance is a rock band out of Atlanta, Ga. They were a featured performer at the Atlanta New Years Eve Peachdrop and their live performance "Little love" video went to #1 in the world on the BalconyTV chart, which earned them a people's choice award on that station. This band was selected to participate in a season-long competition, and following the 2015 season, one band will be named the "Atlanta Braves Band of the Year."
  • Hometown Hero: The Braves will honor a local military member during the game.
  • 7th inning stretch: Performance of God Bless America by Timothy Miller of the Atlanta Opera.
