D-backs reinstate Chase Anderson from 15-day disabled list; optioned Allen Webster to Triple-A Reno following yesterday's game

PHOENIX - The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) reinstated right-handed pitcher Chase Anderson from the 15-day disabled list (right triceps inflammation) today, after optioning right-handed pitcher Allen Webster to Triple-A Reno following yesterday's game, as announced by D-backs Sr. Vice President & General Manager Dave Stewart.

Anderson, 27, recorded 4.0 scoreless innings (0 BB, 3 SO) in a rehab start with AZL D-backs on May 2 @ Athletics. He owned the eighth-best ERA in the NL on June 17, posting a 2.84 ERA (25 ER in 79.1 IP) in his first 13 starts to the year. Anderson is 4-4 with a 4.37 ERA (51 ER in 105.0 IP) in 18 starts overall this season.

Webster, 25, threw 2.0 innings of relief (1 ER) on Aug. 6 @ Nationals. He is 1-1 with a 6.86 ERA (16 ER in 21.0 IP) in 5 games (4 starts) with the D-backs.
