Brewers recall Cravy, option Guilmet to Minors

MILWAUKEE -- The Brewers optioned reliever Preston Guilmet to Triple-A Colorado Springs and recalled pitcher Tyler Cravy. The team announced the move after Tuesday night's 4-1 win over the Padres.

Cravy made his MLB debut in a spot start for Milwaukee on June 2, allowing a run in seven innings in a 1-0 loss to the Cardinals. After being sent to Triple-A, the right-hander returned to appear in two games in July with the Brewers -- two innings of relief on July 3 and a six-inning, four-run start against the Braves on July 7.

Cravy is 7-7 with a 3.97 ERA in 17 starts with Colorado Springs in 2015.

Guilmet was claimed off waivers from the Dodgers on July 31 and is with his fourth organization this season. He last pitched for Milwaukee on Monday, surrendering six runs on four hits in just one inning.
