• Tulo's Toronto debut? PHI @ TOR, 7:07 p.m. ET
His status may not be confirmed until close to game time, but there's a chance five-time All-Star shortstop Troy Tulowitzki will be ready to make his Blue Jays debut in time for Tuesday's first pitch. Tulowitzki was traded with LaTroy Hawkins to the Jays for fellow shortstop Jose Reyes and prospects early Tuesday morning, sources have told MLB.com.
• Garcia returns; Leake leaving? CIN @ STL, 8:15 p.m. ET
One starting pitcher in Tuesday's matchup could be on his way in while the other could be on his way out. Reds right-hander Mike Leake has been the subject of trade rumors, while Cardinals left-hander Jaime Garcia is returning from the DL, where he has been since June 25 with a left groin strain. One of Leake's best starts of the year came against St. Louis on April 19, when he allowed two runs in eight innings.
• Perfect at home: WAS @ MIA, 7:10 p.m. ET
Jose Fernandez can't be much better at Marlins Park. The young right-hander is a perfect 14-0 with a 1.17 ERA in 22 career starts at home, having struck out 168 in 145 2/3 innings in Miami. He'll have his hands full with the first-place Nats, who will activate sluggers Jayson Werth and Ryan Zimmerman from the disabled list before Tuesday's game, sources have told MLB.com's Bill Ladson. Jordan Zimmermann, who has a 5.14 ERA on the road this season, will start for Washington.
• Anderson ailing: OAK @ LAD, 10:10 p.m. ET
After limping off the mound in Atlanta fearing an Achilles injury, Dodgers left-hander Brett Anderson will return to the mound on Tuesday against the A's. His counterpart, Sonny Gray, has allowed at least three earned runs in four of his last six starts.
• Encore to history: ARI @ SEA, 10:10 p.m. ET
D-backs right-hander Zack Godley became the first pitcher since 1900 to work six scoreless innings with seven strikeouts and and no walks in his big league debut, and he'll look to replicate that performance on Tuesday against the Mariners. Hisashi Iwakuma starts for Seattle, having posted a 2-0 record and a 1.74 ERA in his last three outings.
