Omaha Storm Chasers (56-44)

Omaha took the series opener from the Sky Sox for their fifth straight home victory. The streak is tied for their longest home winning streak this season. Brett Eibner recorded a multi-hit game, including a solo home run. He now has 21 RBI in July, which is the most in a month in his career. Four Storm Chaser pitchers combined to throw nine innings, allowing only four hits and two runs.

NW Arkansas Naturals (50-74)

Northwest Arkansas 7, Springfield 2
WP: Kyle Zimmer (1-0)
HR: Lane Adams (7)

The Naturals scored six runs in the ninth to take the win over Springfield. Lane Adams extended his hitting streak to eight games, tallying two singles and a home run in the ninth. The homer started a seven-hit ninth inning for Northwest Arkansas, which is a season-high knocks in an inning for them. Alex Liddi, Parker Morin, and Gabriel Noriega also each collected three hits.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (51-47)

Salem 9, Wilmington 4

The Blue Rocks dropped the rubber match despite striking with two runs in the first inning. It is the sixth consecutive game that Wilmington has jumped out to the first lead. Robert Pehl recorded his third homer of the second-half, and the second of the series. Mauricio Ramos went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a run, and an RBI. Since the All-Star break he is batting .392 through 25 games with four homers, 10 doubles, 25 RBI, and 19 runs scored.

Lexington Legends (44-51)

Michael Hill's two-out single in the seventh inning broke a 2-2 tie, and the Legends went on to complete a three-game sweep. Wander Franco collected two hits and a run scored. The Legends bullpen combined for 3.0 scoreless innings and did not allow any hits to secure the win.

Idaho Falls Chukars (10-19)

Orem 10, Idaho Falls 4
LP: Tripp Davis (2-2)
HR: None

Despite scoring first, the Chukars fell apart to allow seven runs in the fourth inning. Leadoff hitter Cody Jones collected three hits, while Amalani Fukofuka and Logan Nottebrok each notched a couple knocks. Idaho Falls rookie pitchers Drew Milligan, Matt Portland, and Brian Bayliss combined to shutout the Owlz through 6.2 innings.

Burlington Royals (15-16)

Burlington 9, Greeneville 7
WP: Jake Kalish (1-0)
HR: Brandon Dulin (7)

Brandon Dilin broke a 7-7 tie in the 11th inning with a two-run blast, securing the win for Burlington. His seven home runs this season tie his total from the 2014 season. Dulin went 3-for-6, also collected a double and three total RBI. Second Basemen Austin Bailey went a perfect 4-for-4, also collecting a double and two walks.

Surprise Royals (16-5)

Suprise 7, AZL Dodgers 6

SV: Tyler Carvalho (4)
HR: None

The Dodgers scored four runs in the ninth, but the Royals were able to hold on for the one-run win. Yeison Melo, Taylor Ostrich, and Tanner Stanley each collected a couple hits and Ostrich notched two RBI on the night.
