White Sox trade Conor Gillaspie to Los Angeles Angels in exchange for cash considerations

CHICAGO - The Chicago White Sox have traded infielder Conor Gillaspie to the Los Angeles Angels in exchange for cash considerations.

Gillaspie, 28, was designated for assignment by the White Sox on July 19. He hit .237 (41-173) with 11 doubles, one triple, three home runs and 15 RBI over 58 games this season, his third with the club.
