Braves at the plate: Chipper Jones and Adam LaRoche both provided two-hit performances that included a double. LaRoche scored on Brandon Jones' fifth-inning RBI single and again on James Jurries' groundout in the two-run seventh inning.

White Sox at the plate: Jermaine Dye's RBI double highlighted a three-run third inning that included RBI singles from Paul Konerko and Ross Gload. Jim Thome hit his eighth homer of the spring with two out and nobody on in the first inning.

Braves on the mound: Jorge Sosa allowed five runs -- four earned -- and nine hits in five innings. Mike Remlinger tossed a scoreless seventh inning. Oscar Villarreal allowed four earned runs and five hits in one inning.

White Sox on the mound: Jon Garland allowed three earned runs and nine hits in five innings. Javier Lopez allowed two earned runs and five hits in two innings.

Coming up: The Braves will open the regular season on Monday afternoon at 4:10 p.m. ET against the Dodgers at Dodger Stadium. Tim Hudson will face Derek Lowe.

The White Sox will begin defense of their World Series championship on Sunday night against the Indians at U.S. Cellular Field. Mark Buehrle will oppose C.C. Sabathia. First pitch is scheduled for 8:05 p.m. ET.
