Cardinals add second event date for 'An Evening with Ozzie Smith and Willie McGee'

Second night scheduled for Tuesday, August 4th at Busch Stadium; Tickets on sale now

ST. LOUIS - Due to popular demand for the August 3rd 'Evening with Ozzie Smith and Willie McGee' event, the St. Louis Cardinals have added a second opportunity for fans to get up close with the franchise legends on Tuesday, August 4.

"Tickets for our August 3rd event with Ozzie Smith and Willie McGee sold out in record time," said Julia Row, Director of Special Events for the Cardinals. "We're very fortunate that we're able to add a second night and give more fans the opportunity to see these living legends together in person."

During each night of the event, Smith and McGee will tell stories and share insight into their nearly two-decade-long careers during a 90 minute Q&A session with broadcaster Dan McLaughlin. Together, the fan-favorite duo played over 10 shared seasons in St. Louis including 1982 when they helped lead the franchise to a World Series Championship.

In addition to the program, fans that purchase a ticket will receive a one-of-a-kind baseball autographed by both Smith and McGee, and enjoy a cocktail party on the warning track, a photo opportunity with the 1982 World Series trophy and dinner and drinks in the Redbird Club.

While the first night is sold out, general tickets for the August 4th event are on sale now for $250 at cardinals.com/events.

Additionally, a very limited number of VIP tickets have been made available. Priced at $400, the VIP experience also includes a VIP cocktail party in the Owners' Suite with Smith and McGee as well as an individual photo opportunity with the former Cardinals.

An Evening with Ozzie and Willie is presented by Union Station Grand Hall and Budweiser.
