Atlanta, Ga. -- The Atlanta Braves and Los Angeles Dodgers completed a trade today, as Atlanta acquired International Bonus Pool Slot No. 87 in exchange for right-handed pitcher Caleb Dirks and outfielder Jordan Paroubeck .
Dirks, 22, went 1-2 with a 0.67 ERA in 17 appearances out of the bullpen between the Rome (A) Braves and the Carolina (High-A) Mudcats this season. He was originally selected by the Braves in the 15th round of the 2014 free-agent draft and owns a career minor league record of 2-2 with a 1.58 ERA in 38 relief appearances over two minor league seasons.
Paroubeck, 20, was acquired by the Braves from the San Diego Padres in a six-player trade on April 5th, 2015, and participated in 25 extended spring training games this season. He was originally drafted by the San Diego Padres in the second round of the 2013 free-agent draft.
