But they'll have to hurry, as online voting for the 2015 Esurance All-Star Game Ballot heads toward its finish at 8:59 p.m. PT on Thursday.
In the latest round of voting, the Padres' Justin Upton ranks eight among National League outfielders with 2,418,452 votes.
Upton leads the Padres with 14 home runs, 46 RBIs and 15 stolen bases in his first season with the team.
Catcher Derek Norris, who hit two home runs in Sunday's 6-4 loss to the D-backs, doesn't rank in the top five among NL catchers, but his manager feels he'd be a good candidate for the game.
Norris has already surpassed his home run total (11) from last season (10) with the A's.
"He's a warrior," Padres interim manager Pat Murphy said of Norris after Sunday's game. "That's how he goes about it. All-Star stuff. Let's get him in there [All-Star Game]."
