When the latest ballot update was released Tuesday, the Braves did not have a player ranked among the top five at his respective position. But a couple of former Atlanta players -- Jason Heyward and Justin Upton -- both ranked among the top eight National League outfielders.
Though Cameron Maybin is not listed on the ballot because he did not become Atlanta's starting center fielder until early May, the Braves have been pushing for fans to include him as a write-in candidate to serve as one of the NL's starting outfielders.
Maybin has batted .315 with a .773 OPS and 11 stolen bases since becoming an everyday fixture in Atlanta's lineup May 2. During this span, he ranks sixth among NL outfielders in batting average and fourth in stolen bases.
