Jedd Gyorko had two more hits at Triple-A El Paso, Hunter Renfroe hit two homers and Justin Hancock lowered his ERA to 2.98 for Double-A San Antonio on Sunday, while the Padres' two full-season Class A affiliates both won to finish the first halves of their league seasons on a winning note.

Gyorko was 2-for-5 with a double and a RBI for the Chihuahuas. The second baseman is 7-for-14 with two homers and a double with five RBIs in his last three games with El Paso. He is hitting .286 since the Padres optioned him to Triple-A on June 10.

Renfroe, the Padres' first-round pick (13th overall) in the 2013 Draft, was 4-for-5 with three RBIs as the Missions split a doubleheader and hit his fourth and fifth homers of the season in second game. The right fielder raised his average to .244 on the season.

Hancock allowed two runs (one earned) on five hits and three walks with three strikeouts over five innings in the opener, although he suffered the loss. He is 6-3 on the season.

Class Advanced Lake Elsinore took a 7-5 win at Lancaster to finish the first half of the California League season with a 31-39 record. The Storm finished fifth in the South Division.

Right-handed closer Eric Yardley (1-3, 3.94 ERA, 13 saves) will represent Lake Elsinore in the California-Carolinas Leagues All-Star Game on Tuesday night at Rancho Cucamonga.

Class A Fort Wayne defeated Bowling Green, 3-2, on Sunday to complete the first half of the Midwest League season with a 32-36 record. The TinCaps have won four straight games and were 20-11 over the last 31 games to finish seventh in the East Division.

Left fielder Nick Torres and left-handed Thomas Dorminy will represent Fort Wayne on the East Team in the Midwest League All-Star Game on Tuesday at Peoria, Ill.

Torres, 21, the Padres' fourth-round choice in the 2014 Draft out of Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo, is hitting .318 with 23 doubles, two triples and two homers for 29 RBIs and 40 runs. He is fifth in the Midwest League in hitting and tied for the league lead in doubles.

Dorminy, 22, the Padres' 10th-round pick in the 2014 Draft out of Faulkner University, is 5-5 with a 4.41 ERA in 13 starts. He has 58 strikeouts against 29 walks in 67 1/3 innings.

There was one move in the Padres' system Sunday. Left-handed pitcher Eury De La Rosa cleared waivers and was out-righted to Triple-A El Paso. Right-handed starting pitcher Zack Segovia was released by the Chihuahuas.

Triple-A El Paso (35-35): Salt Lake 6, CHIHUAHUAS 4. 1B-3B Cody Decker (.269) backed Gyorko with his 13th homer in a 1-for-4 game. LHP Robbie Erlin (5.40 ERA) allowed four runs on nine hits and two walks with seven strikeouts in five innings. RHP Cory Mazzoni (1-2, 2.13) allowed a run on a hit with three strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings to take the loss.

Double-A San Antonio (30-39): CORPUS CHRISTI 2-1, Missions 1-3. LF Alberth Martinez (.265) backed Renfroe, going 2-for-6. RHP Aaron Northcraft (2.32) allowed one run on three hits and a walk with two strikeouts in four innings in the second seven-inning game. RHP Stephen Kohlscheen (2-0, 3.18) struck out three in two perfect innings to give the Missions a split. RHP Tayron Guerrero (3.49) walked two with a strikeout in a hitless inning to get his sixth save.

Class A Advanced Lake Elsinore (31-39): Storm 7, LANCASTER 5. LF Kyle Gaedele (.257) was 3-for-4 with a double and his eighth homer for two RBIs and two runs. RF Nick Schulz (.234) was 2-for-4 with a double and his third homer. 1B Marcus Davis (.274) was 1-for-3 with his fifth homer for three RBIs and two runs scored. Starting RHP Ronald Herrera (5-5, 3.94) allowed two runs on six hits with a walk and seven strikeouts in six innings. RHP Jason Jester (7.43) allowed a walk and a hit with two strikeouts in a scoreless inning to get his second save.

Class A Fort Wayne (32-36): TIN CAPS 3, Bowling Green 2. 3B Luis Tejada (.368) was 3-for-3 with two RBIs. C Jose Ruiz (.179) was 2-for-3. LHP Brad Wieck allowed two runs on three hits and a walk with three strikeouts in five innings to get the win in his first start in the Padres' system. RHP Colby Blueberg (1.14) allowed a hit in a scoreless inning to get his eighth save.

Short-season Class A Tri City (2-2): Dust Devils 10, BOISE 1. SS Mitch Morales (.556) was 4-for-5 with a double, a RBI and a run. LF Jose Carlos Urena (.429) was 3-for-5 with a double, three RBIs and two runs. CF Rod Boykin (.278) was 2-for-5 with two RBIs. LHP Travis Radke allowed a run on four hits and a walk with two strikeouts in five innings to get the win. RHP Luis Hernandez (3.00) struck out two in two perfect innings.
