Zagunis has one of the hottest bats in baseball. He is 9-for-12 with two dingers and seven RBIs over the past three games. His latest performance powered the Pelicans to a 7-4 win over Lynchburg and the 22-year-old is now hitting .324, his highest average since May 22.
Defensively, he switched from catcher to the outfield full-time this season and has only made two errors in 61 games. The Cubs picked Zagunis out of Virginia Tech in the third round of the 2014 Draft, two rounds after the team selected Kyle Schwarber in the first round.
