Pirates sign two more players from 2015 Draft

The Pittsburgh Pirates today signed the following players from the 2015 First-Year Player Draft. The announcement was made by Joe DelliCarri, Pirates Director of Amateur Scouting.

Went 11-2 with a 1.47 ERA and 101 strikeouts in 13 appearances as a sophomore at Bellevue University in 2015... Was named an honorable mention NAIA All-American, Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference Pitcher-of-the-Year and first-team All-MCAC in 2015.

Went 5-4 with a 3.47 ERA in 12 appearances as a senior at Virginia Tech… Took home ACC Pitcher-of-the-Week honors twice during his senior season…Was the second player out Virginia Tech to be drafted by the Pirates; also George "Sandy" Hill in the 36th round in 1977.  

The Pirates have now signed 26 players from this year's draft.
