Dodgers Recall Coulombe, Option Heisey
LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Dodgers today recalled left-handed pitcher Daniel Coulombe from Triple-A Oklahoma City and optioned outfielder Chris Heisey to Triple-A.
Coulombe will be making his fourth stint of the season with the Dodgers, having allowed three runs in 3.1 innings (8.10 ERA) in two previous games. The 25-year-old has appeared in 16 games with Oklahoma City, posting a 4.82 ERA and limiting opponents to a .232 batting average.
Heisey has gone 4-for-26 (.154) with a double and eight walks in 17 games with Los Angeles this season.
