CHICAGO - The Chicago White Sox are giving fans a special offer in celebration of the 10-year anniversary of the World Series Championship with the 2005 World Series Anniversary Pack.
Through this special ticket package, fans have the opportunity to secure tickets to any of the six anniversary commemorative games, including the World Series Championship Reunion Weekend (July 17-19), presented by Your Local Ford Stores, and three games with a World Series Moment Bobbleheads giveaway featuring Bobby Jenks (presented by Comcast SportsNet on July 4), Scott Podsednik (presented by Wintrust Financial on August 1) and Jermaine Dye (presented by Pepsi on August 29).
By purchasing three or more of those games, fans also will receive an additional game in September or October at no additional charge. The 2005 World Series Anniversary Pack features tickets to these games and promotional giveaway dates, but it does not guarantee the promotional item.
The 2005 World Series Anniversary Pack is available now. The Reunion Weekend includes a 2005 World Championship replica ring giveaway, presented by Miller Lite, on Saturday, July 18 for the first 20,000 fans ages 21 and older as well as a Tailgate Flag, presented by North Star Frozen Treats, on July 19 for the first 10,000 fans. The White Sox also will host "A Season to Remember: A Night with the 2005 World Series Champions" - an event paying tribute to the 2005 team's accomplishments both on the field and behind the scenes - on Sunday, July 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the iconic Chicago Theatre. This special event gives fans the opportunity to listen to stories and memories from 2005 World Championship team members. First baseman Paul Konerko and pitchers Jon Garland and Cliff Politte are scheduled to appear at the event. Additional members of the 2005 team will be announced at a later date.
Tickets for "A Season to Remember" are now available by visiting whitesox.com/remember or calling the Chicago Theatre at 800-745-3000. Ticket prices vary, ranging from $40 to $70 for balcony and $50 to $70 for lower level. VIP tickets are available for $250 and include a reception with event participants, a photo opportunity with the World Series trophy and catered food and beverage for the duration of the event in a private mezzanine-level booth.
