NW Arkansas Naturals (33-24)

The Naturals won a wild back-and-forth game at home. They scored five in the first, then fell behind 8-7 in the fifth. Bubba Starling tripled to open the Naturals' fifth, scoring on a wild pitch. Parker Morin's RBI triple put Northwest Arkansas back on top at 9-8, though Tulsa took a 10-9 lead in the seventh. Lane Adams homered to tie the game at 10-10, with Alex Liddi's double plating Raul Mondesi for the final run. Liddi finished 4-for-5 with two RBI. Mondesi had three hits, three runs and an RBI. Mike Bianucci hit a three-run homer in the first, tying him for first in the league with 11 home runs. The series moves to Tulsa tonight.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (34-25)

Wilmington recorded season-highs with 11 runs and 16 hits in a road win. The Blue Rocks built a 9-0 lead, including six runs in the fifth. Ramon Torres led the hit parade, going 5-for-6 plus two runs. Mauricio Ramos and Cam Gallagher each hit a two-run homer. Jack Lopez added three hits, an RBI and two runs. Eric Skoglund carried a shutout into the sixth, allowing four runs, seven hits and no walks with three strikeouts.

Lexington Legends (26-33)

Lexington 5, Lakewood 4

Chad Johnson's two-out RBI single in the ninth capped a four-run rally as Lexington stunned Lakewood. Brandon Downes scored on Johnson's single after tying the game with a two-run double. Lexington nearly won on Downes' double, though a runner was thrown out at the plate. Ryan O'Hearn hit his league-leading 14th home run and second in as many days. 2014 first-round pick Foster Griffin pitched 5.0 innings, yielding four runs, seven hits and no walks with three strikeouts. Matt Strahm tossed 3.0 scoreless innings and Emilio Ogando pitched a 1-2-3 ninth.
