HOUSTON, TX - On Sunday, June 14th, the Astros Foundation will hold its third annual Picnic in the Park fundraising event in the outfield of Minute Maid Park. This popular event, which gives fans the rare opportunity to be on the grass at Minute Maid Park, will feature 2015 Astros players, alumni and members of the Astros front office. All proceeds from the charitable event will benefit the Astros Foundation's cornerstone youth baseball programs in the Greater Houston Area.
Fans will once again be treated to an hour-long autograph session with Astros players, activities for families and children and a picnic buffet. Additionally, each fan will receive a complimentary picnic mat.
Picnic in the Park admission includes a ticket to the Astros 1:10pm game vs. the Seattle Mariners, and will begin approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of the game. Children five years of age or younger are admitted free with a ticketed adult. Adult tickets (fans 15 and over) are $100, and child tickets (fans 6-14) are $25. Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance.
